According to The Block, Ryan Miller, Managing Director of OSL, a Hong Kong cryptocurrency exchange, expects significant growth in Hong Kong spot encryption ETFs by 2025. Data shows that the Hong Kong Bitcoin ETF currently holds 4,560 bitcoins (about $444.6 million), while the Ethereum ETF holds 16,280 Ethereums (about $59.6 million).
Miller said that in terms of the proportion of the ETF’s scale to the market capitalization of their respective stock markets, Hong Kong (0.023%) performed equally to the United States (0.019%). With Trump’s re-election, the Fed’s expected interest rate cut, and the Hong Kong government’s continued promotion of encryption-friendly policies, Hong Kong’s encryption ETF is expected to play a more important role in the global encryption ecosystem.
