If there aren’t game changer events like the dotcom bubble, the 2008 crisis, or the 2021 Fed rate hiking cycle, the support band has always been enough to mark a bottom. Of course, on the other hand, this isn’t the old MSFT anymore, and what looks like a game changer now is the massive capex spending and the AI war. Whoever loses this game can’t survive. That’s why the fear is big. If those kinds of events didn’t happen, these historical opportunities wouldn’t show up either
