VanEck CEO Raises Questions on Bitcoin’s Privacy
VanEck’s CEO questioned whether #BTC has sufficient encryption and *“sufficient privacy,”noting that Bitcoin’s fully transparent ledger may conflict with rising expectations for confidential transactions.
He added that VanEck would reconsider its position on BTC only if its core thesis proved fundamentally flawed which they do not believe is the case now but emphasized the need to constantly evaluate underlying technology.
He also mentioned that some long-time Bitcoin holders are beginning to look toward Zcash (#ZEC) for its stronger privacy features.
