According to reports, both defendants are practitioners in the cryptocurrency industry and work at the same media company. Wang Bochuan has worked at several third-tier centralized exchanges, including serving as the Community Influencer Marketing Manager at Hotcoin, Listing Manager at WEEX, and User Growth at Hashkey. His last experience on LinkedIn was as a business role at the cryptocurrency media MetaEra.

Another person involved, Xu Zilan, after interning at Bitget for two months, took on the role of Business Development Manager at MetaEra.

What is even more terrifying is that, from the limited-time dynamic of a Web3 practitioner from Taiwan, it further verified that one of the involved parties, Wang Bochuan, had prior experiences of sexual harassment. It is reported that this Taiwanese practitioner was at a Token 2049 planning event held in Singapore in early October, during which Wang Bochuan sexually harassed the female colleagues and female partners of this practitioner, resulting in Wang Bochuan being let go by his company at that time.

However, informed sources revealed that the lawyer of the parties involved, after initially grasping the information, concluded that it should be a case of being set up for a honey trap. It is expected that the police will publicly disclose the woman's statement, DNA report, and photographic evidence tomorrow.
