On Thursday, Polygon Labs announced via X that it has introduced VaultBridge, a new revenue lego for EVM chains. It is the latest software for EVM chains on Agglayer to enable a built-in, and sustainable, native revenue stream.
VaultBridge provides new and existing L2s with a built-in revenue stream, designed to enable a more sustainable economic model for chains. It is customizable, yield-generating, and available for integration.
VaultBridge doesn’t require any existing infrastructure like lending markets or yield farms. And it doesn’t replace a canonical bridge. Existing EVM chains on Agglayer can integrate VaultBridge now and start earning on net-new bridged assets.
Polygon (previously Matic Network) is the first well-structured, easy-to-use platform for Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development. Its core component is Polygon SDK, a modular, flexible framework that supports building multiple types of applications. POL is up 9% in the last 24 hours and trades at $0.2485.
