El Salvador continues to increase its Bitcoin reserves. On February 1st, the country acquired an additional 5 BTC, bringing the total volume of reserves to 6,055 BTC worth over $606 million.
Over the past month, the government of El Salvador has invested over $5 million in cryptocurrency, buying around 50 BTC. The country has consistently increased its reserves since 2021, when Bitcoin gained the status of legal tender.
