Deep Tide TechFlow messages, on 04 April 09, according to Turkey’s Anadolu Agency, sources from the Pakistani government said that the U.S.-Iran delegations will hold “direct” talks in Islamabad, aimed at reaching an agreement for a “permanent ceasefire.” The negotiations scheduled to begin on Saturday may last more than a day. Pakistan is preparing to host these talks. The meeting will be held at a heavily guarded military facility, organized by the Pakistani military. According to the sources, the talks have no fixed timetable and will include direct and indirect contacts between the delegations. “Both sides will also hold face-to-face talks and separate meetings with the Pakistani side.” Given the “complexity of the issue,” discussions may last “several days.” The sources said that, (but) for security reasons, the direct talks may not exceed two to three days.
