Solana Foundation launches the STRIDE and SIRN dual security programs, fully upgrading the ecosystem security protection system.
Deep Tide TechFlow news. April 07, according to an official announcement from the Solana Foundation, the Solana Foundation has announced the launch of a new round of ecosystem security initiatives led by Asymmetric Research. The core includes two major mechanisms: STRIDE (Solana DeFi trust and resilient infrastructure) and SIRN (Solana incident response network).
Among them, STRIDE will conduct independent security assessments of protocols in the ecosystem and publish the results. It will provide 7×24-hour proactive threat monitoring for approved protocols with TVL exceeding $10 million. For protocols with TVL exceeding $100 million, it will additionally provide funding in the form of formal verification. SIRN, meanwhile, serves as an exclusive security response network, with joint participation from Asymmetric Research, OtterSec, Neodyme, Squads, and ZeroShadow. It is responsible for real-time crisis response and shared threat intelligence.
In addition, the Solana Foundation is also offering various security tools for free to all ecosystem projects, including Hypernative, Range Security, Riverguard, and Sec3 X-Ray. The Solana Foundation emphasized that the resources above are intended to assist, not replace, the security responsibilities of protocol teams themselves.
