When Amazon first launched in 1995, Bezos would drive to the post office every day to send packages himself. The books sold in the first week were all packed by him kneeling on the garage floor, with his knees hurting unbearably. He told his employees, "We need to buy some knee pads." The employees looked at him and said, "What we need is a packing table." Bezos was stunned on the spot. "That's the best idea I've ever heard."
