Deep Tide TechFlow message, April 03, the decentralized email project Dmail Network released an announcement stating that it will gradually shut down all services starting May 15, 2026. The team said the reasons for the shutdown include that the bandwidth, storage, and computing costs of decentralized infrastructure are too high, and these costs increase exponentially as the user base grows; multiple attempts to establish a paid model and commercial paths failed to find a sustainable profit scenario; the token did not achieve large-scale real-world usage, and the economic model failed to close the loop; the crypto market cooled abruptly, leading to strategic misjudgments, and core team members have been leaving one after another; in addition, multiple rounds of fundraising failed, acquisition talks did not succeed, and the funds are nearly depleted.

The team reminds users to complete email export and account deletion before May 15; at that time, all nodes will stop running and the emails will no longer be accessible.
