Boundless Ark completes Pre-A funding round and launches "Hardware Version OpenClaw" AI Operating System
Deep Tide TechFlow news, April 01, according to 36Kr, AI hardware operating system company Unbounded Ark recently completed two consecutive rounds of Pre-A financing. Investors include well-known global wearable device brand Shokz, Guoruiyuan Fund, Hengsong Capital, and the Shanghai Angels Association, with Yikai Capital serving as the exclusive financial advisor. Over the past year, the company has completed 4 rounds of financing, with a total amount of several hundred million yuan.
Unbounded Ark’s core product is the AI operating system EVA OS, positioned as a “hardware version of OpenClaw.” In essence, it is a set of agent framework running on the device side, supporting multiple types of terminal devices such as robots, earbuds, and glasses. Developers only need to describe their requirements in natural language, and EVA OS can independently complete program writing, driver debugging, and application deployment, with an average turnaround time of about half an hour—significantly improving efficiency compared with traditional solutions (3 people, 2–3 months).
EVA OS adopts a cloud-and-local coordinated architecture. Voice latency is below 250ms, and multimodal feedback latency is below 350ms, outperforming industry common solutions by about 600ms. Its in-house end-to-end model reduces voice costs to one-twentieth of the industry standard, and perception model costs can be reduced by 70%–92%. Since the release of EVA OS 1.0 three months ago, more than 2,500 companies and R&D units have connected, covering multiple categories including AI earbuds, AI glasses, desktop robots, and robotic arms.
