#Gate储备金报告
Just finished watching Gate's latest reserve report, and it's actually more nuanced than just the "122% coverage ratio."
There are two key developments: First, the covered assets have nearly reached 500 types, meaning it's not just mainstream assets like BTC and ETH—even long-tail assets are now included in the reserve system. Essentially, this addresses the most frequently overlooked risk points in the industry. Second, the "safety margin" for core assets is actively increasing. For example, the BTC reserve ratio has risen from 140% to 147%, approaching a 50% buffer zone. This is more about proactively preparing for extreme market conditions rather than passively maintaining 100%.
The stablecoin structure is also quite interesting. USDT basically operates at around 100%, prioritizing efficiency, but something like GUSD reaches nearly 300%, clearly implementing risk-tiered reserve allocation rather than a one-size-fits-all "more is better" approach.
Overall, this update gives me the impression that it's less about "proving safety" and more about practicing refined asset management—reserves are not just about sufficiency, but about structure, redundancy, and dynamic adjustment capabilities. Platforms that can truly withstand market cycles often differentiate themselves in these details.
