Why Trump Needs This War To End Fast.
Every US President who went to war had public support behind them.
World War 2 was 97%.
Afghanistan after 9/11 was 92%.
Gulf War 82%.
Iraq War 76%.
The Iran War 2026 is sitting at 41%.
The lowest public support for any US military intervention in modern history.
Less than half of Americans support this conflict.
That is a political crisis hiding inside a military one.
And now the White House is demanding unconditional surrender from Iran. While Trump is giving mixed messages on when the war actually ends. While Iranian armed forces are reportedly awaiting the US Naval Fleet at the Strait of Hormuz.
Think about what that combination means.
A President fighting a war that most of his own people do not support. Demanding unconditional surrender from a country that has survived 45 years of pressure without surrendering to anyone. With oil at $86 and still elevated. With the Fed trapped. With US equity markets nervous.
History is very clear on wars with below 50% public support.
Vietnam started at 61% support. Within 2 years it dropped to 35%. The political cost destroyed a presidency.
Trump knows this number. His team knows this number.
41% support is not just a poll. It is a countdown clock.
The pressure to end this conflict is not coming from Iran. It is coming from the American public.
Now Watch Washington. Not Hormuz.
