Lately, I have been questioning what I truly want to gain from this industry and what I can contribute. In the face of narratives about institutional entry and the ups and downs of the coin price, I seem to have not been able to fully utilize my strengths. Reading Nietzsche's "The Power of Solitude," I realize that after being in the industry for a long time, I have started to develop a negative and all-encompassing attitude towards various issues/topics. "Oh, another new public chain? It must be to cut leeks, raising funds to inflate valuations and trap retail investors, with no real innovation, just airdrops and then pulling out." "A new stablecoin mine? Why is the annualized return so high? There must be a trap, it's just subsidies for air coins, withdraw early to preserve capital." When the mindset of liking DeFi shifts from simple enjoyment and participation to full-time work, one's attitude becomes more individualistic and subjective because you have had the opportunity to witness and experience unfairness, scams, bull and bear cycles in the industry—one cycle after another. Gradually, you become numb. Nietzsche's words are actually very enlightening: don't complain about the cruelty and monotony of this world. Think about whether the emergence of this mindset is due to personal issues. Hopefully, everyone's original intention to love the crypto space remains unchanged.
