Someone just tried to impersonate me on Telegram and claimed they knew my personal info. I decided to play along and see how far they'd go with it.

Turns out their "evidence" was hilarious—they sent me a motorcycle photo from the 70s and confidently said "see, I knew you liked bikes!"

I never existed back then, so either their OSINT skills are absolutely terrible or they pulled some random image off the internet. This is a good reminder for everyone in the Web3 space: bad actors often bluff hard when they're caught making stuff up. They'll send you unrelated pictures, throw out vague guesses about your interests, and hope you slip up and confirm something.

The lesson? Don't panic when someone claims to have doxxed you. Cross-check the actual facts. Most of the time, they're just throwing darts in the dark.
