Avail Nexus' launch: a century of cross-chain integrated liquidity

Avail has launched the Nexus Mainnet blockchain infrastructure module, creating the first onchain economy with a truly integrated operational environment. This update opens a new way for users and builders to overcome cross-chain restrictions.

Problem: The fragmented blockchain world

Today’s blockchain ecosystem operates with a fragmented structure. Users are forced to use bridges, routers, and complex protocols to manage assets across different chains. Builders need to write intricate infrastructure layers for multichain applications.

“Currently, the division of blockchains and the isolated interactions between ecosystems negatively impact both builder and user experience,” said Anurag Arjun, co-founder of Avail. “This fragmentation is the biggest problem plaguing the IT industry.”

Solution: Intent-based crosschain architecture

Avail Nexus introduces a completely new approach in the field. Users only need to specify what they want to do — the builder infrastructure automatically finds the optimal route, liquidity source, and execution strategy.

Technical features:

Multi-source liquidity: A single transaction can draw funds from multiple chains simultaneously, improving prices and speeding up execution.

Exact-Out execution: Users can fully capture their desired amount within this ecosystem, regardless of where liquidity is located.

Single verification: Powered by Avail Data Availability, this verifies all crosschain activities based on an auditable data layer.

This architecture transforms blockchain from “message passing between chains” to a unified execution and liquidity system — a fundamental shift in onchain economics.

User experience transformation

With Avail Nexus, the user experience fundamentally changes:

  • Single interface: No bridges, no gas token issues, faster cross-chain operations
  • Deep liquidity: Access to various liquidity pools through aggregation
  • Coordinated execution: Same speed and predictable outcomes across chains
  • Universality: Applications can be accessed immediately regardless of where they are hosted

“This brings Web3 closer to real users,” said Anurag Arjun. “Our goal is to prepare the onchain economy for the next generation of consumer applications.”

New opportunities for builders

Technical integration for builders has been simplified:

Quick integration: Builders can access a multichain user base with a one-time integration via SDK, API, or Elements. No need to manage old bridges and routers.

Multichain AppChains: Builders can create single-gate governance and intent-based trading that updates across chains in real time.

Infrastructure automation: Liquidity routing, verification, and execution are automatically managed, allowing builders to focus directly on application logic.

Prabal Banerjee, co-founder of Avail, said: “The complexity of crosschain execution has always been a major barrier for builders. With Avail, that complexity disappears. As a result, truly composable and scalable multichain applications will emerge.”

Technical backbone of Avail Nexus: Avail DA

Avail Data Availability (DA) serves as a robust core module. With a 10-GB block capacity, Avail DA enables launching independent appchains with enormous throughput and finality, while remaining connected to the entire ecosystem through verifiable cross-chain data.

The AVAIL token acts as the coordinating asset and economic foundation for this single onchain world.

Current state of the ecosystem

Avail Nexus has launched with integrations across DeFi, infrastructure, AI, and cross-chain tools. Various ecosystem projects are enabling new use cases:

  • Single-gate governance for DeFi protocols
  • Intent-based trading across multiple liquidity pools
  • Smart coordination layers based on crosschain data
  • Multichain liquidity aggregation, unlocking opportunities for assets on one chain to be used on another

These integrations make use cases previously impossible or very complex for builders.

Reimagined onchain economy

The main impact of Avail Nexus is the reorganization of the blockchain environment. The old model: one chain, one location. The new model: all assets, applications, and users move freely across chains, remaining part of a single verifiable system.

Anurag Arjun, co-founder of Avail, said: “Now blockchains can no longer be separate networks just passing messages. They must operate as a single, verifiable system where liquidity, users, and execution move freely.”

Step-by-step rollout

Nexus Mainnet is now fully live:

  • Builders can integrate via Nexus SDK
  • The Liquid Apps wave will soon begin — demonstrating unified liquidity and multichain capabilities
  • Additional chain integrations will be rolled out gradually

Vision for the future

Avail is shaping a new era of onchain economy. Users and builders can now access the entire ecosystem from anywhere, regardless of which chain assets or applications are on. For builders, this means significantly reducing complexity and greatly expanding possibilities.

Developed by the original creators of Polygon and supported by major investors, Avail also helps users and builders overcome traditional blockchain limitations.
