Standard Chartered Bank states that Ethereum's dominance in stablecoins, RWA, and DeFi sectors, along with increased network throughput, will support ETH to outperform Bitcoin in 2026. It also expects the ETH/BTC ratio to rebound to around the high levels of 2021 (approximately 0.08). Standard Chartered has also revised down its short-term price targets for ETH from 2026 to 2028 (to $7,500 in 2026), but has raised its long-term outlook, increasing the 2029 target to $30,000 and adding a 2030 target of $40,000.
