Last year, I experienced some pitfalls in hiring. At that time, I always wanted to find research-oriented or investment talents, subconsciously preferring partners similar to myself. It was only later that I realized this approach was wrong.

What matters most in recruitment is actually complementarity. Looking at it from a different perspective, I am already good at research and judgment. What is truly scarce? It’s those who can tirelessly run around offline, handle all kinds of relationships with ease, and are naturally sociable. These partners can make up for my shortcomings, allowing me to focus on what I’m good at, rather than being bogged down by trivial relationship maintenance.

The core of team composition is complementary strengths. I’m not looking for someone who copies me, but someone who can work synergistically with me.
