The path to decentralization of stablecoins is still long. Industry insiders point out that the current DeFi ecosystem indeed lacks truly reliable decentralized stablecoin solutions, but to truly break through the bottleneck, at least three obstacles must be addressed: first is the dependence on the US dollar peg—most stablecoins still rely on fiat currency support; second is the ongoing centralization risk of oracles, which directly relates to the authenticity of price information; finally, the balance with staking yields must also be considered—users pursue higher returns, which relatively decreases the attractiveness of stablecoins. These issues may seem simple, but solving them requires exploration and innovation across the entire ecosystem.
