Another USD-backed stablecoin is coming. A major exchange's official US dollar stablecoin U has confirmed that it will be officially launched for trading on January 13.

According to the launch announcement, the trading pair is very important—when exchanging U with other mainstream stablecoins (USDT, USDC) on the exchange platform, both placing and taking orders will enjoy zero fees. This directly reduces costs for users who frequently convert stablecoins.

Interestingly, this is not just a simple coin launch. Considering the strategic position of stablecoins in the ecosystem, a series of application scenarios such as financial products and new project launches will follow support. In other words, the ecosystem development of U has just begun. The United Stables project has been brewing since December last year, and this launch marks an important moment for its official entry into the market.

Another exchange's own coin... zero fees sound pretty good, but I've heard this eco-setup explanation too many times. Yet another exchange's own coin... they keep talking about ecosystem development and strategic positioning, but in the end, it's all about who has better liquidity. Zero fees are attractive, but I always feel that these projects are ultimately just to lock in users. Stablecoin competition has become intense... U, USDT, USDC taking turns, do users really need so many? Wait, which exchange is this? Just saying "top" is a bit vague. Zero fees are probably just a gimmick; the real profit comes from financial products and IPOs later on. United Stables has been brewing since December? Industry timelines are really fast. I'm not optimistic; yet another exchange-issued stablecoin... they keep talking about ecosystem completeness, but what's the conclusion? If this continues, there will be hundreds of stablecoins, and true diversity will be achieved, right?

Zero transaction fee sounds good, but this kind of exchange trick has been played too many times. The real profit still comes from subsequent ecosystem siphoning. Another stablecoin, endless again. Does the market really need so many? United Stables has been brewing for so long just for this debut? Looking forward to being educated. Free trading is just a gimmick. Let's see who gets cut. The stablecoin track is so crowded, with Bitcoin's rate cut U, it's uncertain how many months it can survive.

Stablecoins are back again and again. This time, with zero fees, I'm a bit tempted... but I'm just worried it will become another dust coin after launch.

Another exchange's own coin, zero fees sound good but how long can it last? --- Stablecoins are taking off, now all exchanges want a piece of the pie --- United Stables? Never heard of it... probably just another ecosystem-building pitch --- No-fee trading is indeed attractive, but it depends on whether the subsequent financial products are reliable --- U coin goes live, just like that. The ecosystem prospects are just talk --- As usual, it will rise upon launch and then gradually fade away, try a wave of market testing at opening --- There are so many stablecoins, why does another one have to come? Wallet space is already tight --- Zero fees as bait is nice, but can the conversion costs really be reduced... there's a devil in the details --- Exchange-issued coins usually aren't a good sign, but I want to see how far this U can go

Another stablecoin is here, this time with 0 fees sounds pretty good, but we're all tired of the promises of ecosystem development. Another copycat USDT is here, is it really necessary? 0 fees? Come on, there must be other tricks waiting behind. With the fierce stablecoin wars, are users the winners or the ones getting cut? This U coin ecosystem development... sounds good in theory, but what about in practice? I'm actually interested in frequently swapping coins, just worried it might be another mirror trading platform. United Stables is a very generic name, not much特色. It feels like every exchange needs to launch its own stablecoin—competition or monopoly? 0 fees are indeed attractive, but it depends on whether the subsequent support is sufficient. Time to research new tokens again, what a hassle.
