Large holders have been unwinding their long positions on major platforms lately, and historically this kind of move tends to show up right before Bitcoin kicks into gear with some solid upside momentum. The pattern suggests these whale movements often work as a contrary indicator—when the big players start cutting their longs, it frequently precedes sharp BTC rallies. Understanding these sentiment shifts among major investors can give traders valuable context on where the market might be headed next.
