CoinVoice has learned that Crypto.com and payment service provider Stripe announced a partnership, with both parties integrating products to help merchants accept cryptocurrency payments more conveniently. Through the integration with Stripe, millions of merchants using Stripe will be able to access Crypto.com Pay, allowing consumers to settle directly using their crypto asset balances or stablecoins. Stripe will convert the relevant payments into the merchant’s chosen local fiat currency and deposit the funds.
Crypto.com stated that it is the first crypto platform to achieve “balance direct payment” integration with Stripe. At the same time, Crypto.com will also use Stripe’s acquiring services to support users purchasing cryptocurrencies with credit and debit cards, and to promote the expansion of its card products and payment services in the United States. Both parties said that this cooperation aims to enhance the usability and coverage of crypto assets in everyday commerce.
