SEC Chair: US Cryptocurrency "Innovation Exemption" Policy to be Announced Soon
On December 2, SEC Chair Paul Atkins told CNBC that the SEC has sufficient authority to advance cryptocurrency regulation. He is very looking forward to the upcoming "Innovation Exemption" policy, despite delays caused by the previous government shutdown, it is now back on track and is expected to be officially announced in about a month. He emphasized that the US has long excluded the crypto sector in the past, and in the future, it will strive to ensure that the US embraces this innovative field through new regulations to help the economy move forward.
