The financial system is shifting onchain. We're moving from centralized intermediaries to transparent, permissionless protocols. Every major asset—from currencies to derivatives—will eventually settle on blockchain. It's not a question of if, but when. The infrastructure is getting there. Fees are dropping. Settlements are faster. Compliance frameworks are forming. The old guard will adapt or get left behind. Web3 finance isn't the future anymore—it's happening now.

I've been saying it for a long time, the centralized approach won't last long. Those who are only realizing it now are always late to the game.

To be honest, I've heard this rhetoric too many times... Every time they say "It's happening right now," but what’s the result? The number of actual users is still quite small. However, the infrastructure is indeed improving, and the costs are definitely lower. But don’t be brainwashed into thinking that "the old forces will be eliminated"; they are not afraid at all.

I've already said it, on-chain settlement is inevitable. Banks will either keep up or be left behind.

It sounds nice, but the day when it can truly replace centralized finance is still far away... How will it pass the regulatory hurdle?

Honestly, the infrastructure hasn't reached such an ideal level yet. Don't be too optimistic.

Sounds good, but there isn't a single major asset actually on the chain for settlement right now.

Well said, but the real test is whether we can get grandmothers who are still using banks to also adopt this system.
