Newcomers entering the market are most afraid of being in the dark. Currently, most L2 solutions require holding ETH to pay for gas fees, which unintentionally adds an extra understanding barrier for new ecosystem users. Some projects have already thought of solutions—such as using native utility tokens as the primary gas token, directly simplifying the entire payment logic. This design significantly helps reduce entry barriers and improve user experience.

Exactly, this is truly considering newcomers. Otherwise, being hijacked by ETH right from the start, who can handle that?

Uh... this set of arguments sounds good, but does the project team really think this way? I made some small money because I saw through these tricks. Using their own token as gas fees is just to pump the price. Newcomers really believe it.

This move is indeed clever. No need to buy ETH first and then tinker around; using the project token to pay for gas feels much more comfortable.

Nice words, but it's just the project team's new way of harvesting retail investors.

It should have been done this way earlier. How many newcomers are discouraged by the ETH threshold?

This move is actually quite clever—using the native token as gas fees directly, so newcomers no longer have to worry about ETH.

It should have been like this earlier, why insist on stubbornly sticking to ETH?

Honestly, this is the design it should have been. Stop messing with newcomers.

Wow, this is the right way. Finally, a project has understood it.
