Listening to too many voices can lead to more confusion. Recently, I talked with a few friends considering entering the crypto investment space, and one phenomenon is particularly obvious: it's not that they don't want to learn, but they are overwhelmed by information bombardment, making them dizzy and confused.

One moment, someone is shouting "Now is the time to enter and double your money," the next second, someone says "The market is about to crash, don’t even try to buy." Everyone speaks confidently, but their directions are completely opposite. When I first started trading cryptocurrencies, I was the same way. It’s not that I wasn’t serious enough; it’s that no one explained the logic clearly: where exactly are you now, and what will you face at each step?

So today, I want to simplify this—no fancy jargon, no riding hot topics, and no creating anxiety to attract attention. Just clarify one thing: how to correctly step into the crypto market and what are the risks at each stage.

**Why do newcomers always feel uneasy at first?**

When beginners open the app, they get scared. "Hundredfold coins," "get rich overnight," "buy the dip and sell the top"... these words are everywhere. The easiest trap to fall into is treating gambling as investing, and taking hearsay as an investment strategy.

In fact, the crypto market is neither a casino nor a marketplace. It is supported by real technology and innovation, and it is a high-risk investment field. But most people either ignore the risks because they see quick profits, or completely reject it after hearing a few failure stories—neither extreme is sustainable. What is truly needed is—an unbiased assessment.

**How to get started more safely?**

If you’re still hesitating or feeling uneasy after just entering, that’s okay. Let’s take it slow.

The first step is to understand the basic concepts clearly. Don’t rush to make money. Understand what blockchain, wallets, and smart contracts are, why they exist, and grasp the fundamentals thoroughly before moving on.

This is not nonsense. Many people get knocked out by small fluctuations simply because their fundamentals are weak, or they jump in because of a slick pitch. Once your foundation is solid, you will have your own judgment standards instead of following the crowd.

There is too much information noise, really. I have also been troubled by all kinds of conflicting voices.

Really, information overload is the biggest killer. I've seen so many scenes where a bunch of KOLs are backstabbing each other.

Really, the more information you have, the more confused your mind gets. I have deep personal experience with this. At that time, I was overwhelmed by all kinds of signals and calls, and only later did I realize that I needed to understand the underlying logic first; otherwise, it’s just pure luck.

Really, once you enter the crypto world, it's like the deep sea, full of tales of gods fighting. I just want to ask, why does everyone talk about "must rise" or "must fall," and no one explains the logic clearly?

Really, I have deep personal experience with this. When I first entered the scene, I was dazzled by all kinds of voices, and only after suffering losses did I realize the truth. Having a solid foundation is truly the original sin; just look at those newcomers who got cut off, it's the same story. I agree, the key is to have your own judgment rather than following the crowd and listening to stories. This is the real deal, much more reliable than those shouting slogans. How many people still truly understand blockchain today? Most are just chasing quick riches.
