There is always information asymmetry in the market. Some people profit by capturing Alpha, while others fall into cognitive traps. The key question is: is the so-called "inside information" you receive a genuine opportunity or a carefully crafted narrative?
In the crypto market, Alpha opportunities often come with high risks. The various sudden news, ecosystem trends, and technical updates popular in the crypto space may seem like scarce knowledge, but in reality, the information gap is constantly narrowing. Most retail investors receive "inside information" that has already been delayed through multiple layers of transfer.
The true cognitive advantage comes from a deep understanding of fundamentals—project tokenomics, team execution capability, and market cycle positioning—not from chasing every rumor. In an era of information explosion, staying vigilant is more valuable than blindly chasing. Your advantage should be built on independent thinking rather than information speed.

That's true, but I just can't control my hands. Whenever I see a piece of inside information in the group, I want to act on it.
Only when you're cut do you realize that what you received early on was already chewed-up scraps by others.
Independent thinking sounds easy, but how much discipline does it really take to do it?
These days, the biggest information gap is actually a gap in cognition. Unfortunately, most people can't tell the difference.

Basically, you still need to use your own brain. Don't believe everything that those people in the group hype up.

Basically, the group of people who got cut always think they got a bargain, but in reality, they've already fallen into the trap.
Everyone understands this theory, but the hard part is that only a few can actually do it.
Deep research > listening to stories, but unfortunately, most people choose the latter.
Independent thinking sounds comfortable, but in practice, it collapses.

That's right, I was previously cut deep by those "insider tips."
What little insider information retail investors can get has long been leaked.
Independent thinking is easy to say, but actually executing it makes you realize how difficult it is.
I'm increasingly realizing that fundamentals are the key, but unfortunately most people are still chasing the hot trends.

Basically, everyone who gets "cut" thinks they've got insider information, but in reality, they've been ambushed early on.
The "revelations" retail investors receive are mostly stories after others have already sold off.
So now I prefer to carefully study the fundamentals rather than follow the hype of so-called breaking news.
Independent cognition > information speed, this really hits the point.
When evaluating projects, focus on the team's execution ability and tokenomics, don't just listen to positive ecosystem news.
Many people fail because they think they know more than others.

Basically, don't get cut, because most of those "inside information" are just bait for bagholders.
---
Deep understanding of fundamentals sounds simple, but how many can really do it...
---
Independent thinking is indeed valuable, but most people simply can't do it.
---
Narrowing the information gap? That's a joke. As long as there are retail investors, there will always be opportunities to cut leeks.
---
Instead of chasing hot topics, it's better to study tokenomics. Unfortunately, far fewer people read whitepapers than insider groups.
---
That's why I don't trust anyone's "inside information," even social circles are just routines.
---
Stay alert > blindly chasing, this is a phrase worth getting tattooed.
