Ledger hardware wallet has encountered trouble again. The latest news reports that a security vulnerability in the third-party payment service provider Global-e has led to the leakage of a large number of users' private information. Affected users have recently received official email notifications, which include data such as names and contact information.

This is not the first time Ledger has experienced security issues in the payment process. Every time users think their wallet assets are secure, they get caught in a security loophole during the payment process. As a partner, this security incident with Global-e has caused many to reevaluate the risks of third-party integrations.

For users holding Ledger devices, although the wallet's private key management is relatively secure, personal information leakage is equally dangerous—such data could be used for targeted scams and phishing attacks. Users are advised to immediately check their accounts for any abnormal activity and stay alert for related scam messages.

Coming again? Ledger is really outrageous this time, repeatedly failing in the payment process. No matter how secure the hardware wallet is, it's useless. The wallet private key is fine, but personal information being sold is a disaster... How much blame should be put on Global-e? Brothers who received the email, hurry up and beware of phishing. These black-market scammers are now extremely skilled at precise fraud. Ledger needs to reflect on this; they can't push everything to third parties. The risks of third-party integration definitely need to be taken seriously, or using hardware wallets will still feel a bit suffocating.

Here we go again? Ledger is really outrageous, always messing up with payments. What's the point of private key security? --- It's just the third-party taking the blame, anyway user information is gone. --- Now it's all good, get ready to be precisely scammed. The wallet was bought for nothing. --- Damn, I need to change my password again. How many times has this happened? --- Global-e? I've never heard of it. Why does Ledger have to involve these messy payment providers? --- Wait, I received an email that day. I need to check my account quickly. --- Hardware wallets are hardware wallets, but the payment system is completely a different matter. Who designed this architecture? --- Waiting for phishing emails to bombard me, it’s inevitable.

Here it comes again, Ledger is really cultivating a habit of leaking information. --- Private key security is a joke, everyone has been sold out. --- Global-e's move is too dirty, how can Ledger still trust such a thing? --- Name and phone number are exposed, everyone just wait to be scammed. --- Why not properly manage the payment chain instead of blaming third parties? --- Now I understand, wallet security ≠ information security, they are two different things. --- Ledger should compensate, this kind of leak is really the worst. --- It's time to consider switching to another hardware wallet, they can't even ensure system security. --- It's always the payment part that has issues, who can we still trust? --- I just want to ask, who will take responsibility for my privacy?

Oh no, Ledger has failed again. This time I really can't hold it anymore. Hardware wallet security is a joke; you still need to prevent third parties. Another big company's "trust" has collapsed. What's the use of perfect private key management in wallets? I've been saying not to trust these integrated services for a long time, they make everything seem like a gamble. My name and address have been leaked, I feel phishing calls are coming soon. Why do these payment failures keep happening? Can't you learn? User self-help guide: quickly change your address, beware of lockout scams. Information leaks are even scarier than asset theft. This time, it really hurts. It feels like Ledger can't be trusted anymore. Cold wallets + self-management are the most reliable. Falling into traps again and again, when will I finally learn my lesson? I just want to ask, do you still dare to use Global-e?
