If I could restart my investment life, I would hope to enter the US stock market in 2020, not the crypto market.
By doing US stocks in 2020, I now have six years of knowledge and experience in the US stock market, along with two cycles of bull and bear markets, which is extremely valuable.
For example, if I had spent 5 years from 2020 to 2025 in crypto, those experiences would be of little use in the US stock market, at most just looking at candlestick charts. For instance, if I start doing US stocks in 2025, it would be equivalent to having only one year of knowledge and experience.
However, for me, I conclude that doing crypto allowed me to get in touch with the US stock market, using crypto as a stepping stone to enter US stocks. If I hadn't done crypto, I might not be doing US stocks now.
