Maduro is in custody, and now everyone’s watching the clock.

Not if a mugshot drops - when.

Here’s what we know:
He’s expected to appear in federal court in New York today, sometime around noon ET.
Historically, mugshots surface 2–3 days after a first court appearance.

NBC says the paperwork is done.
Photos taken. Fingerprints logged.
The image itself? Still locked away.

This is a high-profile case, so DOJ caution is expected.
They’re not treating this like a routine arrest.

My read:
there’s a solid chance the mugshot comes out before the 9th - unless prosecutors intentionally delay the process, which wouldn’t be shocking either.

Either way, this isn’t being handled casually.
And that alone tells you how sensitive this case really is.
