The pace of cryptocurrency regulation in the United States is clearly accelerating. The latest GENIUS Act is expected to introduce specific details by mid-2026, covering core aspects such as stablecoin licensing, asset custody, and capital requirements, with full implementation anticipated by early 2027. This framework mandates that stablecoins must be backed by 100% reserves and grants these reserves priority claim rights—meaning the safety of user funds will be significantly enhanced.

Meanwhile, the SEC is also planning an "Innovation Exemption" program, aiming to provide a 12 to 24-month light regulatory testing window for crypto startups. During this period, startups can simplify disclosure requirements and greatly reduce compliance costs. This move benefits both sides: startups can validate their business models in a more flexible environment, and institutional investors are more willing to enter as the regulatory framework becomes clearer. From the overall ecosystem perspective, the acceleration of compliance is making the market healthier and easier to attract mainstream capital.

100% reserve sounds good, but who will actually oversee it? Isn't it just going to be a hassle again?

100% reserve? Sounds good, but I feel like some exchanges' "creative accounting" might ruin it.

100% reserve? Sounds like locking stablecoins, but honestly, it's better than those exchanges that frequently make moves.

The 100% reserve for stablecoins feels like giving retail investors a sense of reassurance, but can it really be fulfilled?

A 100% reserve requirement sounds good, but the real test lies in the implementation details—how to verify? Who will audit? Stablecoins should have been regulated long ago; let's not see another FTX-like fiasco.

The 100% reserve for stablecoins sounds good, but it depends on how it's implemented... Waiting until 2027?

100%储备支撑听起来不错,就怕到时候又是纸面文章
