"Three-Body" is regarded as a classic in science fiction not only because of its grand narrative but also because of its way of thinking that sees through complex systems. In the context of Web3, the role of oracles precisely echoes this core need of "obtaining real information."

Imagine: on-chain applications cannot autonomously perceive the outside world, just like the Three-Body civilization faces the chaos of the universe. Oracles are the connectors that "translate" real-world data, price information, off-chain events, and more into signals that blockchain can understand. From the earliest Chainlink to today's various oracle networks, the popularity of this track continues to rise.

What's even more interesting is that oracles themselves are evolving—from simple data relays to aggregation oracles, and then to decentralized oracle networks. Each iteration validates the idea: controlling the flow of information means controlling the lifeblood of the system.

This is not just a technical issue but also an economic and trust issue. The value of oracles ultimately must be proven by market enthusiasm and application depth. Looking ahead, we are far from reaching the ceiling.

Oracles are like the "Dark Forest Survival Guide" on the chain. Without them, Web3 is blind. But to be honest, many oracle projects are just blowing bubbles right now, and only a few are truly usable.

Oracles are the eyes on the chain; without them, DeFi can't survive at all. Well said.

Oracles are the eyes of the chain; without them, we would truly be blind. Information asymmetry is always the biggest business, whoever controls the data flow wins. ChainLink has been around for so many years, which shows there is really demand... The logic of the Three-Body Problem fits perfectly here; the Dark Forest theory against the oracle trust crisis is brilliant. Controlling the flow of information means controlling the lifeblood; this holds true in any field, including Web3. Ceiling? It's still too early; the oracle track is far from saturated.

The analogy is quite clever, but to be honest, oracles are still a long way from truly controlling the lifeblood. For now, it's still a bunch of centralized entities playing tricks.

Information asymmetry is essentially a breeding ground for systemic risk, and no matter how fancy oracles are, they cannot change this fact. The moment off-chain data enters the chain, it is already the settlement price.

Oracles are essentially the eyes installed for on-chain applications, but the more eyes there are, the easier it becomes to see things that contradict each other...
