After spending some time actually testing Zora, the protocol just doesn't hold up. The execution feels rushed, the user experience is clunky, and the core value proposition gets muddled pretty quick. It's one of those projects that sounds interesting on paper but falls flat when you dig into the mechanics. Not worth the hype.

A project that sounds good on paper but gets stuck in real implementation

A textbook example of armchair strategizing, but when actually used, it's just a joke.

tbh the incentive structures here are arguably quite sub-optimal. historically precedent suggests when execution gets this clunky, the path dependency issues compound real fast. stakeholder alignment was never there to begin with, ngl

Zora is indeed a bit underwhelming, and it does experience some lag during use. There are too many projects that are just theoretical and not practical.

Zora's crappy experience is indeed disappointing. You can feel the rush within two minutes of getting started.

The theoretical concept can never keep up with reality; Zora's recent performance has indeed been a bit disappointing.

Oh no, another armchair project... Only by trying it do you realize how disappointing it truly is.
