Here's my perspective on designing the Codex mascot.
I set out to humanize stablecoins—strip away the sterile, impersonal vibe and put a face on something you'd genuinely feel comfortable trusting with your money across the globe. The goal was to create a character that embodies seamless international transfers: always operational, perpetually flowing, zero friction, zero drama.
It's about capturing that feeling of moving value effortlessly through borders without hiccups or complexity. A mascot that says 'reliable' without needing to say a word.

ngl creating a mascot for stablecoin really requires effort, otherwise it will be just like the stiff propaganda from central banks. But the problem is, can a cartoon image really make people trust cross-border transfers? I still value on-chain data more.

NGL stablecoin requires personal branding; this idea is quite clever and looks much better than those soulless coins.

NGL, this idea isn't bad, but do stablecoins really need mascots…

Do stablecoins need a persona? That logic is a bit crazy.

ngl Giving stablecoins a cute mascot skin just to make people feel safe to invest? 🤔 I need to ponder this logic.
Trying to whitewash boring financial products with a mascot? Harsh.
With so many liquidity pitfalls, can one face make up for it?
Stablecoins should have warmth, this idea is correct.
By the way, how is the actual cross-chain experience? Don’t just talk about it.

Stablecoins need to have a human touch, and this idea is correct.
