What is the market performance of the US spot cryptocurrency ETF? Just look at this set of data.
As of early January, the total trading volume has exceeded $2.4 trillion—what does this mean? It has doubled in just 8 months from $1 trillion. The speed is astonishing.
Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs have become the main driving forces, with a combined net inflow of up to $646 million. Among them, BlackRock's IBIT accounts for about 70% of the market share, a level of monopoly that is rare in the crypto space.
Interestingly, the coverage of spot ETFs is continuously expanding. New assets like SOL and XRP are also being included. Especially XRP-related products, which have attracted $1.2 billion since their launch in November last year. This growth rate indicates how strong investors' demand for diversified asset allocation is.
The entire spot ETF market continues to maintain strong growth. Whether in terms of capital flow or product innovation, it is validating the vibrant vitality of this track.

BlackRock's 70% share... truly absolute dominance, it feels like small players have no way out.
Regarding XRP absorbing 1.2 billion, I see many people are bottom-fishing.
24 trillion in trading volume doubling speed, now that's what real institutional participation looks like.
Both SOL and XRP are starting to be included; is the era of old coins coming to an end?
IBIT's monopoly is a bit concerning for the market structure.
The spot ETF track is indeed hot, but BlackRock's aggressive monopoly isn't very healthy.

BlackRock holds a dominant 70%, this level of monopoly is a bit outrageous.
The doubling of the 2.4 trillion trading volume is indeed impressive, but few are actually making money.
XRP attracted 1.2 billion in funds and still wants diversification; it still feels like it's being cut by institutions.

BlackRock's 70% stake is quite aggressive, solidifying a dominant monopoly position... other players need to think about how to break through.

Is BlackRock monopolizing? Out of the 24 trillion in trading volume, it has absorbed 70%. How can we continue to play like this?

BlackRock's move with IBIT is really a bit monopolistic, holding 70% market share—are they aiming for dominance?
Doubling in 8 months, the speed is indeed impressive, but can this last... It all feels a bit hollow.
XRP only launched a few months ago and has already attracted 1.2 billion in funding. This rebound really surprised people.
Now that ETFs are open, any coin can be listed. Do investors really lack diversified options this much?
The 24 trillion figure looks impressive, but is liquidity really sufficient? I always have some concerns.
This wave of spot ETFs has truly changed the entire ecosystem; we can never go back to how it was before.
IBIT holding such a large share—what happens if some risk emerges in other products someday?

70% monopoly? This is the flavor of centralization
---
Spot ETF is booming, is the spring for retail investors not far away
---
Doubling sounds great, but the truth is institutions are harvesting retail investors
---
SOL, XRP are both coming in, wow, they are about to completely crush traditional finance
---
IBIT's monopoly is too strong, must be cautious of anti-monopoly investigations
---
2.4 trillion in trading volume, but how much of it ends up in our hands?

XRP products attracted 1.2 billion as soon as they launched, showing everyone's confidence

If I had gotten on IBIT last year at this time, it would have been great. Looking at these numbers now, it's really heartbreaking.

BlackRock taking 70%? How hungry do they have to be? Do other players still have a chance?

BlackRock's 70% market share is really outrageous; the entire ecosystem is being consumed by a giant. Is this what Web3 decentralization is all about? Haha
