In the crypto market, you'll find two types of people.

The first type: they truly can achieve an 8 out of 10 level, but always claim to be a 6. The result? They bring a 10 out of 10 surprise to the market. These people are often core project builders, analysts, or traders—working quietly, letting their abilities speak, and building their reputation gradually.

The second type: they only have a 6 out of 10 ability but go around claiming to be a 10 out of 10 expert. When it’s time to deliver? They fall short, providing a market experience of only 4 out of 10. Look at those big V project analyses and marketing gimmicks filled with hype—this is often the pattern. They hype up the project early on, but once real money is involved, their true nature is revealed.

The difference between these two types of people boils down to the match between integrity and strength. One is ability premium, the other is promise depreciation.

In a Web3 world still exploring regulation and with trust costs extremely high, which kind of people would you choose to deal with? I bet smart investors and reliable community members are leaning toward the first type. Because in this industry, no matter how eloquently you speak, nothing beats repeatedly fulfilling your promises.

That's right, but the key is how to identify it. Many influencers use pretty slick tactics, and I just want to know how to spot it before getting caught.

Roughly speaking, the first type of talent is genuinely building the ecosystem, while the second type is just a harvesting machine for retail investors.

That was really harsh, hitting right on the pain points of a bunch of big V influencers. --- Being low-key but capable is always the most valuable, and this is especially obvious in the crypto circle. --- The key is whether they can truly deliver; just bragging is something anyone can do. --- Overhyped in the beginning and disappointing later; I've seen too many projects like that. --- Integrity in this industry is truly a scarce resource; it's more valuable than any analysis. --- Those who boast every day, it doesn't matter whether you follow them or not. --- Rating yourself 6 out of 8 but claiming 10 out of 6, the choice is obvious.

Really, I've seen this trick too many times. The people who hype it up every day all end up crashing.
