Nethermind founder recently revealed a major news in an interview — the Ethereum Foundation has established the dAI team and publicly released the ERC-80004 standard proposal. This move immediately attracted the attention of leading organizations like Google, Coinbase, and others.

Interestingly, the Foundation has a clear understanding of its role — not to directly build AI applications or develop new wheels, but to act as a "coordinator." In other words, their focus is on establishing underlying standard infrastructure to provide unified norms and foundational support for AI development across the entire ecosystem.

The logic behind this is actually quite profound. As the leading smart contract platform, if Ethereum can hold the standard-setting voice in the AI era, it will have significant advantages in attracting developers and institutional collaborations. Looking at the history of ERC standards, each new standard tends to drive a wave of ecosystem application iterations. The actions of the dAI team are very likely to follow the same path.

Are you still sticking to that standardization? Wake up, real applications are the true strength.

Playing the standard game again, Ethereum's套路 is really familiar. But speaking of ERC-80004, what's it for? Can it be implemented? Based on historical experience, once standards are established, the ecosystem becomes active, but AI still depends on real needs. The coordinator role sounds good, but I'm just worried it might end up being just a formality. Google and Coinbase have both followed suit, indicating that at least some people are optimistic about this direction.

Another battle over standards... This move by Eth is quite strategic; holding the discourse power means winning half the battle.

Another standard proposal... This approach is getting better and better at Ethereum, setting rules first and then reaping the benefits. Smart people.

It's the same old trick of setting up ambushes again. The foundation really thinks it is the king of discourse.

It should have been like this a long time ago. As soon as the ERC standard was released, the ecosystem became active. This wave of dAI won't be an exception.

Handshake, this game is really well played, the right to set standards is the future's voice ETH has learned to be smart with this move, not following the trend to blindly develop applications, but instead positioning at the foundational level, smart If ERC-80004 can become popular, the entire AI ecosystem will have to follow their rules, monopolization is truly frightening But to be honest, the coordinator role looks comfortable, but can it really be implemented effectively? Let's wait and see If this can become a standard like ERC-20, what will the token price look like when it rises? Haha

Coming back to set standards? I'm very familiar with this routine in Ethereum. It's nice to call them coordinators, but actually they're just trying to position themselves. Wait, no, Google and Coinbase are both jumping on the bandwagon? This time, it seems like there's really something going on.

It's another game of standard discourse power, Ethereum is playing it really well. Seizing the AI trend on this piece of land, other projects can only look up to it.
