The feeling of getting liquidated for the first time in a contract is really indescribable.

Today I was watching the trend of FOLKS, which surged from over 5 dollars and then retreated. The K-line technical analysis clearly shows a downward signal. At that moment, I impulsively thought this downward move was a sure profit opportunity, so I opened a short position without hesitation.

The more confident you are, the more embarrassing it gets. As soon as the order was placed, the price suddenly skyrocketed as if it had gone mad, with buy orders flooding in like waves, and the 24-hour trading volume soaring to 108 million, with a transaction value of 644 million. Watching your margin being eroded like that, the feeling of powerlessness is truly despairing.

I didn't even think about stopping losses; I was directly forced to liquidate by the system. When the liquidation warning flashed, I finally understood what "too late" means. My account went from profit to huge loss in just one day, with all the hard-earned profits being completely wiped out.

Lying in bed staring at the candlestick chart unable to sleep, repeatedly asking myself: why go against the trend and short at this position? Why insist on topping when I see a surge in volume? Those who chased the rise are profiting, while I learned a lesson from getting liquidated.

I really want to hear if there are others who have encountered the same situation. How should one play in contract trading to survive a little longer? Or is it essentially just gambling?

Finally, I want to say: this loss has given me the deepest lesson—no matter how perfect the technical analysis is, it cannot withstand the sudden behavior of the market; stop-loss and position management are more important than any analysis.

This coin depends on the market maker's mood. If the market maker wants you to profit and you follow along, you'll earn. If the market maker wants to play people for suckers, then no technology will help.
