The most fearful thing on the investment road is not the loss, but knowing you are wrong yet still stubbornly holding on.

Watching mainstream cryptocurrencies like $BTC, $ETH, and $BNB fluctuate every day, we sometimes find ourselves in a psychological dilemma — always feeling that if we just wait a little longer, we will break even. But sometimes, admitting defeat in a timely manner is the smartest choice.

Closing a position is not a failure, but rather making room for the next opportunity. Just like in life, if you take the wrong path or choose the wrong direction, instead of indefinitely exhausting your energy in regret, it is better to decisively adjust your strategy. The moment you cut losses may be painful, but it often marks a new beginning.

In the long run, the market is always cyclical, and opportunities are never absent. No matter how non-farm data fluctuates or how the market adjusts, as long as you maintain the right mindset and have a clear strategy, you can always start anew in the next market cycle. The opportunities that were once missed often reappear in new forms.

So, don't overthink it, and don't feel sorry for cutting losses. Cut losses when necessary, and exit when it's time to exit. The road is still long, and good scenery is still ahead.

Listen, this is a typical narrative of survivor bias. Data shows that 80% of retail investors who insist on "wait a little longer" ultimately become textbook cases. What I care more about is capital efficiency—every stop loss should be viewed from a different angle, in terms of how much unnecessary sunk cost has been saved, rather than psychological preparation. US Non-farm Payrolls (NFP) fluctuation? I only look at on-chain evidence and arbitrage opportunities in historical fluctuation ranges.

You are right, holding on stubbornly is the most deadly... I experienced this last time, had to wait for a rebound, but it fell all the way to the floor.

Seriously, I've long quit carrying that set, and I can only live comfortably by cutting meat.

Well said, but it's really difficult to execute. I am still tightly holding a bunch of trapped coins, looking at the Candlestick charts every day is like looking at my own scars...
