BlackRock's Bitcoin spot ETF (IBIT) continues to attract massive capital despite headwinds. The fund pulled in roughly $25 billion in inflows throughout 2025, even as returns remained underwater. This highlights institutional conviction in the space—money kept flowing in during a period of negative performance, suggesting long-term positioning rather than momentum chasing. A telling sign of how the institutional narrative around Bitcoin has shifted.

To fall this much and still throw in 2.5 billion, these institutions are really something... Whether they are optimistic in the long run or trapped, they all have to keep adding.

BlackRock's recent move really has some substance; pouring money into it despite losses shows that institutions are truly optimistic about the long term. The $2.5 billion in IBIT is a solid vote of confidence.
