Been here since 2022, grinding through every single day with genuine belief in what crypto could be. The whole point was decentralization, right? Digital gold that nobody could touch.
But something broke. The vision we held—that sense of a truly borderless, ungovernable financial system—keeps slipping further away. Every protocol compromise, every regulatory capitulation, every exchange that bows to pressure... it chips away at what made this space feel different.
I'm worn out. Not just tired of the price swings or the failed projects. Tired of watching the original promise get diluted, seeing the space gradually look less like revolution and more like traditional finance 2.0. The technical capability is there. The vision used to be crystal clear. Yet somehow we keep moving backward.
That exhaustion hits different when you realize what we could've built versus what we're actually building.

Awakened, it's long been time to see through this game
---
Exactly right, every time I see certain exchanges cooperating with regulatory authorities... it really feels disheartening
---
Did you come in 2022? Bro, we've witnessed countless "compromises" along the way, from code is law to where we are now... it's ironic
---
NGL, the most heartbreaking part is that the technical solutions are all there, but human nature chooses to retreat
---
I'm tired too, not because of losing money, but because I see no hope anymore
---
Decentralization has turned into "pseudo-centralization," I've seen this plot too many times
---
That hits hard. The dreams of the past now seem like a joke
---
Rather than saying we've been defeated by regulation, it's more like being betrayed by our own people
---
So what mindset do those who still persist have? Sincerely asking
---
Every protocol drops a bit with each compromise, what’s left of it compared to traditional finance

Comments on the NFT Bankruptcy Collection:
Honestly, my heart sank when I saw these compromises... I originally wanted to change the world, but I was still tamed.

ngl, you're so right. Those who came in 2022 know that feeling... Now seeing exchanges kneel one by one, protocols compromise, it's really not what we want.

Wake up, we are just repeating history, only with a different appearance.

ngl This is what we are all going through, isn't it? Dreams being chipped away by one compromise after another.
