Been here since 2022, grinding through every single day with genuine belief in what crypto could be. The whole point was decentralization, right? Digital gold that nobody could touch.

But something broke. The vision we held—that sense of a truly borderless, ungovernable financial system—keeps slipping further away. Every protocol compromise, every regulatory capitulation, every exchange that bows to pressure... it chips away at what made this space feel different.

I'm worn out. Not just tired of the price swings or the failed projects. Tired of watching the original promise get diluted, seeing the space gradually look less like revolution and more like traditional finance 2.0. The technical capability is there. The vision used to be crystal clear. Yet somehow we keep moving backward.

That exhaustion hits different when you realize what we could've built versus what we're actually building.
