The market likes to reward simple people, while those who play tricks and schemes are more likely to crash.
I still remember that difficult winter of 2018. Bitcoin was sliding down from its peak near $20,000, and pessimistic voices were everywhere in the market. I had just entered not long before, watching my account shrink by half, and I couldn’t sleep well for several nights. Later, I met a senior who had been in this industry for over ten years. He only said one sentence: "90% of the losers in this circle are actually defeated by their own emotions."
This sentence was like a switch that opened my mind. Over eight years, I’ve seen too many so-called "gurus" rise and fall, and those who end up doing well are often the ones who stick to the most basic principles. Today, I want to share four market rules I’ve earned with real money.
**First Trick: Don’t Let Emotions Hijack Your Wallet**
When the price rises 3%, your mind starts to itch. Worrying about missing the bus to sudden wealth, you rush to follow the trend. When the price drops 20%, panic sets in instantly, fearing further decline and losing everything. This chasing and selling in a frantic rhythm is basically a fast track to losses.
My mistakes include: rushing to sell all when a coin rises a little, only to see it double later; or adding blindly to a position when it falls, eventually getting deeply trapped. All of these are the costs of reckless thinking.
**Second Trick: Use Discipline to Overcome Fluctuations**
The only effective way is to set clear take-profit and stop-loss standards in advance. For example, take profits in stages when gains reach 20%, and decisively exit when losses hit 10%. When executing, act like a machine, not changing your stance because of short-term market fluctuations. It sounds cold, but this coldness has saved me many times.
Remember the most important point: surviving is more important than earning quickly. Protect your principal, always put it first.

Really, those who play contract leverage and shout signals every day, 99% of them will eventually disappear.

That's so true. These past two years, I've been a living lesson in how emotions can overwhelm you.

90% loss is really caused by emotions, I have deep personal experience with this.
