Whales continue to increase HYPE holdings? $12.1 million in new chips reveal the cost-averaging strategy

【BitPush】On-chain data has captured an interesting operation again. A top whale bought 581,000 HYPE tokens in batches from July to October this year, spending around $14.4 million. Subsequently, this whale transferred 323,000 HYPE tokens worth $8 million to the Hyperliquid platform through several related wallets.

What’s more interesting is that in the past 14 days, it has made another move—buying an additional 490,000 HYPE tokens, spending another $12.1 million. This series of actions seems very deliberate. Large-scale batch accumulation, partial transfer of holdings to trading platforms, continuous replenishment… This combination clearly indicates an effort to lower its average holding cost.

Whale movements usually reflect institutional-level strategies—they don’t go all-in blindly but instead use time and volume diversification to lock in better entry costs. The fact that HYPE can attract such large investors to keep adding positions suggests that market expectations for it are not low.

Whales are lowering costs, indicating that the bottom consensus of HYPE is not strong enough yet; they have to keep pouring money in to stay stable.

This move by the whales is incredible—dispersed accumulation, shifting to exchanges, continuous replenishment. This is the style of institutional-level players... Looks like HYPE really has something.

Back at it with this approach? Building positions in batches and averaging costs—it's the old routine, but it does indicate that whales think HYPE has potential. Hmm... Spreading over 30 million USD across multiple purchases, either they have immense confidence or they're betting on a future rise. We'll have to see how it develops. Whale tactics like this are typical of institutional strategies; just worried it might end up being a story of them taking the last bag. Is HYPE really worth this price? Need to observe a bit more before I dare to follow. Accumulating in batches and then transferring to exchanges... Could they be offloading? Haha

Whale's operation is indeed ruthless. Those who understand know how to distribute costs in batches. It all depends on whether HYPE can hold up.
