Oh my god, I just saw the news about the WET public sale and I’m a bit stunned😅 First, the presale was exploited by snipers using over 1000 wallets to farm tokens, and now they’re restarting the public sale with anti-bot measures... What’s really going on here?

I checked Bubblemaps’ analysis, and that sniper actually held 70% of the share, hiding their identity by transferring funds from exchanges to new wallets, each exactly holding 1000 USDC... That operation was really clever. It was only because of a mistake by one address that they were finally tracked down, almost like a detective story.

So Jupiter is now minting new tokens to restart and strengthen anti-bot protections. I understand this is to protect other participants, right? But it also shows that participating in token sales really requires caution...🤔

I want to ask experienced folks, what impact do sniper and witch address attacks have on ordinary participants? Does it mean not all projects are so "fair"? It feels like there’s so much to learn just to get started.
