Looking at ETH this wave, it has been oscillating around the 2980-2990 range, repeatedly pulling back. After the rebound, it entered a phase of high-level consolidation and correction. Although it is currently above the midline in the short term, the pressure is quite evident—the momentum of the rebound seems to be weakening. This is not a trend reversal but rather a consolidation process.

From a technical perspective: The BOLL upper band is near 2992, the midline around 2980, and the lower band at 2770. The price has been testing around the midline, repeatedly attempting to break through the upper and lower bands but without success. The resistance above remains. The midline is slightly upward but has not diverged, meaning it is still in a consolidation phase, and the upward space has not yet opened.

Regarding MACD: the green bars have disappeared, replaced by red bars, but the red bars are shrinking. Although DIF and DEA have crossed bullishly, the angle is very dull, indicating a typical phase of waning momentum after a rebound.

Trading suggestions are divided into two approaches:

Long (buy on dips) — Enter at 2950-2935, target 3000-3040, with a stop-loss below 2915. If it effectively breaks below 2920, the short-term bullish logic is invalidated.

Short (defend against rebounds) — Enter at 3015-3035 on a rebound, sell, with targets at 3000-2980-2930-2880, and a stop-loss above 3055. If it stabilizes above 3050, the bearish plan needs to be reassessed.

Currently, ETH is in a situation of oscillating above the BOLL midline with MACD momentum waning after a rebound. Range-bound oscillation, difficult to break upward, and also hard to break downward.
