#稳定币安全与风险 Recently, I've been seeing all kinds of discussions about Tether, and I still feel a bit nervous 😅 I heard about reserve assets, solvency, and all that. At first, I was completely clueless, worried that my stablecoin might disappear someday.

Only today did I understand a key piece of data: Tether currently has $181 billion in reserves, liabilities of $174.45 billion, and a $6.8 billion surplus! Does this mean it's not just an empty shell? Plus, in the first three quarters of this year, it made a $10 billion profit, which is quite substantial.

After reading the analysis from CoinShares' research director, I feel that my previous concerns might have been exaggerated. Although stablecoins definitely still carry risks (nothing is zero risk in investing, right?), the data suggests it might not be as terrifying as I thought.

The current question is—how should I judge whether a stablecoin is safe? Is it mainly about looking at its audit reports and reserve data? Are there any experts who can help beginners understand the key points when analyzing these data to avoid pitfalls? 🤔
