Wall Street renowned analyst Tom Lee recently made a bold prediction — Ethereum (ETH) is expected to surge to $7,000 before Q1 2026. This is not a baseless guess, but a judgment based on market liquidity and ecosystem development trends.

If this target is achieved, Ethereum's market capitalization will hit a new all-time high, further establishing its core position in the entire crypto ecosystem. The underlying logic is quite clear: the rise in ETH price is directly related to the activity level of the entire ecosystem. DeFi, NFTs, Layer2—these ecosystem sectors will receive more attention and capital inflows as ETH's value grows. This positive cycle can attract institutional investors because once there is a clear price target and timeframe, a strong market narrative will form.

However, it is important to remain calm—such predictions usually require multiple conditions to be met simultaneously — continuous ETF fund inflows, genuine breakthroughs in ecosystem applications, and macro policies remaining friendly. None of these are guaranteed. Therefore, this prediction is more about revealing the long-term development direction and the potential market narrative, rather than a short-term trading reference.

What do you think about this prediction? If ETH really takes off, which ecosystem track do you think has the most potential?
ETH-0.54%

$7000? Tom Lee is storytelling again, but I don't mind... as long as the funds come in, it's all good. Layer 2 is the real deal; I'm already tired of that DeFi bunch.
