The founder of a major DeFi platform recently shared his perspective on the timeline for traditional finance migration to blockchain. According to his assessment, the U.S. financial system won't achieve significant on-chain integration for several years at minimum. This outlook reflects the complexity of regulatory frameworks, infrastructure development, and institutional adoption required for such a massive shift. The transition involves not just technological upgrades, but also fundamental changes in how financial institutions operate and interact with blockchain networks.

lmao "several years minimum" — that's just polite speak for "never gonna happen in our lifetime" tbh. seen this exact playbook before, checks notes... 2017, 2021, rinse and repeat. institutional adoption always takes 3x longer than what the founders promise, it's basically law of crypto physics at this point

How many years? Forget it, the regulatory tiger hasn't woken up yet.

Laughing to death, how many years? I might as well wait for a few more bear market cycles. --- On-chain traditional finance is even harder than waiting for the wind to come; everyone, please stock up on dog food first. --- Regulatory frameworks, infrastructure, institutional recognition... Basically, everyone is waiting for others to make the first move. --- Starting in a few years? I bet the coins I buy now will be completely worthless by then. --- Haha, that's why we bunch of retail investors have to watch K-line charts for entertainment. Traditional finance is still in meetings. --- Bro, your prediction this time is quite conservative. I think it will take at least ten years to wake up. --- If we can't get past the compliance hurdle, the blockchain circle will just keep performing comedy shows. Anyway, there are plenty of spectators.

How many years to get started? I think it takes at least ten or eight years to get it done... Regulation is really a headache to deal with.

Starting from how many years? I think it takes at least ten or eight years to get things done... The regulatory stuff can't be changed at all.

Starting from how many years? I think adding another zero is necessary. Reforming the US regulatory system is much more difficult than writing code.
