Lido's journey is just getting started. The protocol is actively pushing toward greater decentralization while rolling out Lido V3—a major upgrade bringing fresh staking primitives and new institutional channels to access stETH. Rather than staying confined to a single product, Lido is evolving into modular staking infrastructure, opening doors for broader ecosystem participation and institutional adoption across the DeFi landscape.

V3 sounds good, but can it really be decentralized? It still feels the same.

From a risk control perspective, Lido's recent modular overhaul indeed increases the surface area of systemic risk. The entry barrier for institutional access has lowered, but how will the lending rate be managed? Will the health factor become the next ticking time bomb?

V3 is here. Is it really going to be decentralized this time? Or is it just the same old trick, sounding good but actually the same as before?

Ironically, every time they say "just the beginning," Lido's level of centralization is still that outrageous [smirking]
