Recently, this wave of market movements is essentially a repeated test. A long bearish candle drops down, then a long bullish candle pushes back up—just bouncing back and forth like that.

This tactic has been overused in bull markets—scaring those with less confidence, forcing them to hand over their chips at the lows. In a bear market? A long bullish candle becomes the last dream for the stubborn—making you think a reversal is possible, only to trap you when you chase.

But think about it, if a single long bearish candle could wipe out a bull market, BTC would have been finished long ago; if a single long bullish candle could change the trend, the bear market wouldn’t last this long. The biggest mistake many beginners make is being led by daily ups and downs—boasting when it rises, crying when it falls. In reality, trends aren’t created in a day, nor are they easily wiped out.

The core of the current tactic is one word: patience. Use sideways consolidation to wear down your patience, use sharp rises and falls to test your bottom line. When you panic, you fall into the trap; when you greed, you take the bait.

For retail investors, the most practical approach is actually very simple—control your hands, don’t be fooled by a single candlestick’s emotion, don’t follow the market makers’ rhythm blindly. If you can endure it, they can’t. The crypto world emphasizes cycles and discipline—no matter how many charts are drawn, as long as your position and rhythm stay steady, they are just small potholes on the road, definitely not the end point.
